Texas Counties Deliver

Welcome to Sabine County, Texas

Sabine County is approved from TxDot to do a VEGETATIVE DEBRIS collection and disposal. This will be for county maintained roads only, not private drives or private roads.  We are in the final procurement stage with TCEQ and Historical Commission regarding permits. In addition, to signing agreements with TxDot.

By this notice, we are allowing the citizens on county maintained roads know that you may place your VEGETATIVE DEBRIS in the ditches (aka county right-of-way).   TxDot subcontractors will make one (1) pass on the roads to remove this vegetative debris.  We do not have a timeline as to when TxDot will start. However, when they do start, they will have a set time to execute and complete the vegetation debris removal.

NO household items and or construction material will be allowed in ditch (aka county right-of-way). The county is maintaining dumpsters at Pct 1 barn for non-hazard items and household items.

Sabine County currently is not declared a disaster by FEMA
