Following a court order signed on August 10, 2016, Texas voters now have additional ID options for voting in person. The Texas Secretary of State's Office has updated the new requirements on VoteTexas.gov and their agency website www.sos.state.tx.us.

VOTER ORDER PRIORITY 

New law: An election officer may give voting priority to individuals with a mobility problem that substantially impairs the person's ability to move around.
Ley nueva: Un oficial electoral puede dar prioridad a la orden de votación personas con un problema de movilidad que sustancialmente afecta la capacidad de la persona para moverse.
